Morrissey on Conan

I know my blog still has been filled with cobwebs. Now my PC is in the shop so I must relinquish the laptop to the teenager for homework purposes. Priorities, man.

Anyway, I had to sneak this tidbit on. Morrissey was on Conan last night. Yes you heard that right, MORRISSEY was on Conan last night. I'm a Smiths/Morrissey fan from back in the day. Morrissey can still work the stage and kick ass! This song is awesome. His last CD was fantastic. He stills keeps himself relevant. You go Morrissey! I'll love you forever.

Song of the Week - Life's A Happy Song

I'm so thankful and it's not even Thanksgiving yet! Bret McKenzie AND Kermit? What more could a girl ask for? I miss Flight of the Conchords so much, but this makes up for it in some small way. I was planning to see the new Muppet movie on Friday, but I'm getting so excited I may have to sneak away on Wednesday.

Where Have I Been?

I had to take a bit of a blogging break recently. Life got in the way and those are the times I always wish that I had posts already sitting in the hopper. That’s a blogging fantasy though. The reality is that I’m usually behind in writing my posts, so if something trips me up, it’s all going to fall apart.

So I haven’t been writing or visiting blogs the last couple of weeks. I’m trying to get back in the swing. I have a four day weekend coming up which looks promising, but I also plan to The Muppet Movie and Like Crazy, so I’ll be away from the computer a lot.

Even though I haven’t been on the computer much, or writing anything, I still have been watching, reading and listening to loads of cool new things that I can’t wait to tell you about. I have a long list of posts.

I’m looking forward to catching up with all of you on your blogs and I hope you’ll catch up with me.

Song of the Week - I Put a Spell on You/She & Him

I was thinking of Zooey Deschanel all day because New Girl is back on tonight! My thoughts turned sad though when I heard the announcement this afternoon that she and Death Cabie Cutie frontman, Ben Gibbard, are ending their two year marriage.

On a brighter note, I purchased the new She & Him Christmas album with my birthday iTunes card! I haven't listen to it yet because it's WAY to early for Christmas songs. It's nice to know it's there when I'm ready though.

For now I'm still digging their regular tunes, like this one. Enjoy!
